Who We Are
Positive Discipline Success is headquartered in California, about an hour north of downtown San Diego. It is a company founded by highly experienced educators and workshop facilitators, business professionals, technology experts and most importantly, parent educators, who share a common goal of spreading the parenting programs of Jane Nelsen and Lynn Lott to all parents and teachers.
The core values of the company are to strengthen the relationships we all share with our families and communities, and to create a better world to live in, one parent and one associate at a time.
What We Do
We provide a total back office solution that focuses on supporting a large network of professionals dedicated to teaching Positive Discipline. The individuals we proudly serve are: Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educators (CPDPEs), Positive Discipline Associates in Training (PDAITs) and Certified Positive Discipline Associates (CPDAs) and those who would like to become a CPDPE, PDAIT, or CPDA.
Tim Yates, founder of Positive Discipline Success, is a successful business entrepreneur, lecturer, educator and father of 3. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology, is an accomplished musician and is working on his private pilot's license. In his spare time, Tim coaches Pop Warner Football, basketball and spends as much time as possible with his children.
When it comes to teaching people Positive Discipline, Tim says his goal is to excite, inspire and motivate all his students to be the best parents, teachers and caregivers they can be in a safe and fun environment using ample doses of humor and numerous hands-on activities. All of Tim's students will leave his seminars and workshops filled with hope, information, tools to try at home and feeling confident. They will know how to tackle all discipline issues in a kind, firm and respectful manner.
Currently, working with Dr. Jane Nelsen, Tim is planning on writing two new books: Positive Discipline for Corporate America and Positive Discipline for Nannies & Babysitters.

Since 1975, Dr. Jane Nelsen has shown more than two million parents and educators how to end power struggles while building positive, healthy relationships with children of all ages. Positive Discipline Success, LLC, utilizes its state-of-the-art technology to allow the Positive Discipline message to reach millions more.
Meet Lynn Lott, MA, MFT
Lynn Lott has co-authored several of the Positive Discipline books with Jane Nelsen as well as the two facilitator manuals used for training workshops: Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way, and Positive Discipline in the Classroom. Lynn now has a full time therapy practice in Santa Rosa, CA
